EMMA KIRK

Emma Kirk started her singing career from a very young age and progressed from choir and solo singing to talent quests and singing comps.

From the age of 16 she was performing professionally for various duos, bands and corporate shows that have travelled extensively nationally and internationally.

In 1995 Emma discovered the Speech Level technique and started teaching in various performing arts schools across Sydney and continued also to do so from her own private studio.

After 25 years in the music industry and at the height of her career whilst performing in her own produced show "The Adele Experience" for major cruise liners and corporate events her voice had notably declined and was later diagnosed with vocal paralysis.

After delicate voice surgery in 2020 and a vigorous regime of speech therapy and self voice training, Emma has managed to claim her voice back and believes that her experience with re-training and managing a 50% physically functioning voice is pivotal turning point in training other singers at all levels.

Her own level of vocal understanding and being able to connect with her own voice is a gift and passing this knowledge onto future performers is what she is now passionate about.

Alongside her long standing music career, Emma has also forged a career in marketing, events and production which is a crucial element of establishing oneself in the music industry and goes hand in hand with professional development as an artist.
